The 4-in-1 Wall Detector + Moisture Meter is a practical tool integrating multiple functions. It can be used to detect objects such as wood, metal, and electrical wires inside walls, and can also measure the moisture content of wood. This helps you fully understand the internal condition of your walls before renovations, drilling, etc., preventing damage.
Component Description
Display: Displays measurement data, test results, and related information.
Wood Detection Mode Indicator: Illuminates when the instrument is in wood detection mode, used to detect the presence of wood in the wall.
Metal Detection Mode Indicator: Illuminates when the instrument is in metal detection mode, used to detect the presence of metal in the wall.
AC Power Detection Mode Indicator: Illuminates when the instrument is in AC power cord detection mode, used to detect the presence of electrical wires in the wall.
Moisture Detection Mode Indicator: Illuminates when the instrument is in moisture detection mode, used to detect the moisture content in the wood.
Usage Instructions
When using the instrument, hold it firmly against the wall and press and hold the scan button to calibrate until the instrument emits a 'beep,' indicating calibration is complete. At this point, continue holding down the scan button and move the instrument across the wall. An alarm will sound when wood, metal, or electrical wires are found inside the wall.
1. Power On and Mode Switching
Press the “MODE / Power Button” to power on. Press the “MODE / Power Button” again to switch between wood detection mode, metal detection mode, AC wire detection mode, and moisture detection mode.
2. Wood Detection
Switch to wood detection mode; the “Wood Detection Indicator” will illuminate. Place the instrument near the wall and press and hold the “Scan Button” until the instrument emits a “beep” sound, indicating calibration is complete. Continue holding down the scan button and move the instrument across the wall. An alarm will sound when wood is found inside the wall.
3. Metal Detection
Switch to metal detection mode; the “Metal Mode Indicator” will illuminate. Place the instrument near the wall and press and hold the “Scan Button” until the instrument emits a “beep” sound, indicating calibration is complete. Continue holding down the scan button and move the instrument across the wall. An alarm will sound when metal is found inside the wall.
4. AC Power Line Detection
Switch to AC power line detection mode; the 'AC Mode Indicator' will illuminate. Place the instrument close to a wall and press and hold the 'Scan' button until the instrument beeps, indicating calibration is complete. Continue holding the scan button and move the instrument along the wall.The device will sound an alarm when it detects AC wiring inside the wall.
5. Moisture Detection
Switch to moisture detection mode; the 'Moisture Detection Indicator' will illuminate. Insert the instrument's metal probe into the object, ensuring good contact. The display screen will show the object's moisture content.
